Commissioner Wilder Receives Philanthropy Award |

Commissioner Tony Wilder is presented with the Commonwealth Award by KPI Executive Director Michael J. Hammons.
Commissioner Tony Wilder is one of three public officials awarded the first Commonwealth Award by the Kentucky Philanthropy Initiative at its annual Summit on Philanthropy on October 19, 2011.
The awards were given to Senator Brandon Smith, Representative Fitz Steele and Commissioner Wilder who provided exemplary leadership in “building Kentucky through philanthropy”. Commissioner Wilder was cited for his lead in launching the Endow Kentucky program, taking an extraordinary interest in helping achieve its early success and promoting the establishment of new funds. DLG was charged with implementing the Endow Kentucky program.
