Area Development Fund

The Area Development Fund (ADF) is a state-funded program which provides financial support for capital projects.  Activities that can be funded with ADF dollars include:

• construction, reconstruction, renovation, and maintenance of buildings and other improvements to real estate

• acquisition of real property

• major equipment purchases

• industrial site development

• retroactive funding for eligible projects within the previous five years

Who Can Apply

All local governments are eligible.

Application Process

Obtain an application from your local ADD.  Please include an ADF Project Scope and Budget Form and an ADF Statement of Assurances.

Approved project amounts are based solely on availability of funds. No local match is required. Applications are accepted year-round.

Completed applications shall be considered by the ADD Board Meetings and, if approved, will be sent to the DLG for final approval and payment.
